Award of Wallonie

Any Ham radio may apply for it for all short waves contacts made with any Walloon radio amateur after October 1st 1980 (founding date of Walloon's institutions). Today more than 200 awards have been send on the five continents.

It is very easy. There is no restriction about the mode of transmission, the frequencies bands or the province.

Non-Europeans applicants should contact 5 different stations from Wallonie; Europeans stations 10 and Belgian station 15.

Contacts with Provinces Namur, Liège, Luxembourg, Hainaut et Walloon Brabant are good. Contacts with Brussels are not good, because it is a full region, with own Government, clearly separate from Wallonie and Vlaanderen.

No QSL are required. GRC list or logbook copy is enough. The award is free, except a little participation in administrative and postage expanses (USD 10.-- or 7 IRC or or € 5,00).
