Ham Radio Contests

Contests are competitions during which the radio hams must contact the more great number of station during a given period (6, 12, 24 or 48 hour) and in respect of certain conditions. 

It can be contacting stations located in an area, a country, a continent or in the whole world...

I took part in many competitions, most of the time as single operator, with sometimes interesting results.

• UBA PHONE CONTEST 1988 (Classe A): 1st place of Belgium with 10.745 points

• ARRL 10 METERS PHONE CONTEST 1980 (as OR6GB):  1st place of Belgium

• IARU RADIOSPORT CHAMPIONSHIP 1979: 1ere place of Belgium - Mono-operator Phone Class with 134.832 Pts
