Some words of introduction

I was born a June 16, in the nice little town of Gembloux. Thus I am a Gemini (with an ascending Lion, it seems like it). I don't believe in all of it, although...

We live in the small country city of GEMBLOUX in the Province of Namur (50 km south of Brussels) in WALLONIE, the part of Belgium where people speak French. I lived all my life here, because I am proud to be one of " these happy fools who were born somewhere"...

My daughter's name is Catherine. She was born in 1979. My grand-daugther is Eléa. She is born in 2005.

Besides being a radio amateur, my other passions are genealogy, steam-powered trains, birds watching, the history in general and the one about Wallonia in particular. I try to be a good gardener...

Now I'm retired. An also happy to be in a new life...

Before I was a civil servant of the regional Government of Wallonia in Namur (General direction of the Highways and Roads).

My small website doesn't have any pretention. You will find pages dedicated to some of my centres of interest. All my "radio amateur and genealogist" friends from all over the world will be able to find out more about me.
