Thanks and Goodbye

I say you “Goodbye!”. I’m gone on December 4th 2001. I’m now in the animals paradise with Ann (the Spaniel Cocker) and Julie (the 24 years old cat, my companion during 6 years).

Thanks my friends from Sans Collier Association, an animal’s protection society. They gave me a shelter in 1989 when my former owner dropped me out. They gave me a new family and new reasons to trust human beings...

Master (Dad) and his wife (Marie-Anne) gave me the love and the affection I needed. I returned it hundredfold.

In the beginning I made some follies (I was only 10 months old), but later I was the best companion in the world: clean, fool more often than not but quiet on request. I was also very docile but a real good watchdog. Nobody could attack my masters. I defend they showing one’s teeth.. But kind peoples have to scratch my belly... It was so good!...

They took me everywhere. It was nice because I loved motor run.

When I  began to loose weight in September 2001, they gave me the best care as possible. They helped me to leave when I was done. It was a very hard decision for them... I thanks for it.

I know I’m in their hearts forever...

But they couldn’t stay long time without four-legged companion... Life without a dog is very sad. They goes back several times to the Sans Collier Shelter. In the beginning it was very hard. They burst into tears... because they thought to me... In the long run, they were more OK. If they burst again in tears, it was because all those animals abandoned by irresponsible peoples. Those “human” beings don’t known they abandoned also unconditional love...

One a day, they decided: it will be a lady...

And now, since March 2002, a wonderful Black Tervueren Shepherd is playing in  my garden. Her real name is Valentine, but it is a little bit to long. So her usual name is Valy. She is +/- 3 years old and she has lovely brown eyes.

I’m very glad, because she is full of love for my Masters. They call me “I follow you”, but she is “Real Glue Pot”. She is really very kind. Don’t worry, Dad and Marie-Anne will take care of her.

I hope a so happy house for all my friends from the Sans Collier Shelter.

I give you a last big wet kiss and give you my paw for the last time...
